In short

SegmentOS is a survey-research platform. We collect the data needed to run your account and surveys, to source panel respondents when you ask, to keep data quality high, and to power AI translation and analysis. We do not sell your personal data. Below is the gist; the full Privacy Policy has the detail.

1. Who’s who

•       Creators — you hold an account to build, launch, and analyze surveys.

•       Respondents / Panelists — you answer a survey, via a Creator’s own channel or our panel.

•       Visitors — you’re browsing segmentos.io.

2. What we collect and why

•       Contact & account info (Creators/Visitors) — to run your account, billing, and support.

•       Survey & response data (Creators/Respondents) — to store your surveys and deliver responses. The Creator controls response data.

•       Usage, device & quality-control data (everyone) — to operate, secure, and improve the Services, and to stop duplicate or fraudulent responses (including device fingerprinting and speeding detection).

•       AI processing — when you use AI Translate or AI analysis, relevant content is processed by our AI providers to produce your results.

3. Good things to know

•       Your survey data is private. We don’t sell it and only use it to provide and improve the Services.

•       Respondents: whether your answers are anonymous depends on how the Creator built the survey; contact the Creator about your data.

•       You have rights — access, correct, delete, object, and more, depending on where you live (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, Mexico’s LFPDPPP). See the Privacy Policy for how to exercise them.

4. Who we work with

Payment processing (Stripe), cloud hosting, AI providers (translation/analysis), panel providers, email delivery, and analytics/advertising measurement (Microsoft Clarity / Microsoft Advertising).
